Spent a morning on Dungeness in Kent, collecting detritus on the shingle beach, visiting Derek Jarmen’s iconic black clad cabin and garden..

It was great to finally get to Derek Jarmen’s black clad cabin on Dungeness peninsula in Kent lastweek. Its such an iconic garden and small house, I wonder if he had any idea of people trampling around his shingle garden and peering into his sitting room, its like he just popped into the kitchen to make a large G&T..Thanks for the inspiration Derek.

I wore a blue shirt in his honour: ‘Blue’ Derek Jarmen, 1993. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glOi34FbCBk
